Membership
 1. Drop the additional race fees for non-members. Note : The incentive to join the SoCal USRA is to score points in the championship. Lets welcome all racers into our events, and not penalize new racers.

 2. Set scale race entry fees at $16.00 per class. $5.00 to raceway, $6.00 to payout, $5.00 to SoCal USRA. Note puts into writing the current practice.

 3. Keep membership fees at $27.00 per year, but include a rule book, tee shirt and membership card.

4.. Only SoCal USRA members may score points in any SoCal USRA Championship.

 5. Where a track has a “Day Practice Fee” no driver may enter in a race without paying the day practice fee if they practiced.

SoCal USRA Structure
Notes : The current committee structure needs some refining. The overall SoCal USRA committee should be responsible for the overall operation of SoCal USRA with regard to financial matters and policy decisions, however all other matters are clearly divided between Scale and Wing and people from both divisions should have some latitude in the divisional decisin making in rules, race formats etc plus the actual operation of their division. Protests would be referred to the divisional rules committee.

 

6. The SoCal USRA committee will comprise The President,The Treasurer,  Wing Vice President, Scale Vice President, Racers Representative Scale, Racers Representative Wing Notes : Although this is an even number votes can be broken by a casting vote by the President.

7. The Scale Rules Committee will comprise : The President, The Treasurer, Scale Vice President, Scale Assistant Tech Director, Members Scale Representative from the SoCal USRA Committee, 2 extra members at large, 1 of which should be under 18 years of age and one at least one must be an Amateur racer.

8. The Wing Rules Committee will comprise The President, The Treasurer, Wing Vice President, Wing Members Representative, 1 or 2 Members at large.

New Racing Series

 9. Create a new third SoCal Racing programme as per the notes below—This is the overall vote to create this new series.

 The series will be set up and administered by the Scale Rules Committee.
 The Sprayglue 12 wing class would move to join this series if it is eliminated form the current wing program, with Amateur and Expert classes a possibility
 The series will run on the Sunday after most or all Scale races.
 The Scale Rules Committee will determine which classes will be run at each race with leading candidates being C 12 Eurosport, C 12 Sprayglue, TSRF. Other possible classes could be 1/24th Eurosport, 1/32nd Eurosport, Indycars, Rally Cars, Hard Body NASCARS etc etc. Classes may change depending on the location of the race and local preferences. A championship for each class raced will be run, much along the lines of the current wing championship where some classes run on a rotational basis.
