69. Change the day
format to speed the day up. Run two classes back to
back with a minimum of time in between. This will change
according to the classes to be raced in 2004. Tech in
Sprayglue 12 and Group 12 together (allow say 15 minutes
between sprayglue and glue 12 to glue up track and for
sprayglue racers to get glue cars into tech if they
are using the same car, no time if they are not using
the same chassis). This would be followed by a lunchbreak
of 1 hour, then tech in the final two classes and run
the races back to back. Notes : currently we race approximately
1 ½ hours per day in a day that takes over
12 hours to complete.

73. Change C-12 to
spray glue
Note : as of 12/28/2003
this proposal is still under review. The Wing Committee
has decided that due to the closeness of the vote and
this being such a sensitive issue a re-vote will be
held at the first Wing Race at Buena Park on Jan 10th.
All those wishing to vote should either be there, or
email Chris beforehand to make sure your thoughts on
this subject are known. Votes will only be considered
from people who are actually intending to run C12 as
set out in the 2004 schedule. If you are not sure if
you will run, please do not vote.
After being considered
by the Committe a vote was taken of C12 racers at Buena
Park at the first round and the proposal failed. C12
remains a glue race for 2004.

: 12/28/2003 This vote passed in the original vote, however
because it was linked to proposal #76 above it was reviewed
by the Wing Committee. The decision from the Committee
was to stay with the voting from the meeting and add
Group 7 as an additional class at each round in 2004.

78. Create a novice
class. Spec 15 motor, Spec Body (same two or three designs
for whole season), any approved Group 12 chassis, 72
grams (or lighter). Class will race either with sprayglue
12’s or glue 12’s depending on 2004 classes. Drivers
would score points in the Sprayglue or Group 12 championship,
plus they would score points in their own championship.
Class would have separate payouts. Class could also
be restricted to 1 or 2 marked motors per race to contain
costs. Qualifying would be optional and on race power,
but no more motors would be allowed.
