Uncle Kals Raceway Monrovia, CA March 8, 2003 SPRAY GLUE G-12 GROUP-12 - Big Brian Wins One
! Lin Hammond took the early lead and led the first heats. Brian Johnson took over in heat 4 with Dale Garcia moving to 2nd place and only 2 laps down. Brian and Dale spent the next 4 heats within 1 lap. It was not until the final heat that Brian moved away to notch his first USRA win by 5 laps over Dale. Lin took his 2nd podium of the day with Chris Radisich taking up the final place.
COBALT 12 In the race it was all Phil Larcom. Phil led all the way with Dale taking 2nd and Rick Elting using his G-12 car to score the 3rd place points. ONE MOTOR OPEN

There were 9 entries
for this race and it was Mike Stuart making one of his rare wing
car appearances leading after the first heat. Chris Radisich took
over in the second heat and lead on the average for the rest of
the race. Mike would take 2nd with Lin Hammond and Monty Ohren
battling for the final podium spot. Lin would prevail ahead of Monty,
Colin Herzig, Phil Phillips, JB Barnett, Evan McKee and Brian Johnson.
There were only 4 entries
for this event and it was Dale Garcia taking the TQ points.
Forrest Watchers
and Monty Ohren ran together for the first 2 heats. In heat 3 Monty
made the big move, he turned the high heat and fast lap of the race
and put 20 laps on Forrest and it was basically over. These 2 would
trade a few laps here and few there but in the end it was Monty
winning by 28 laps. Forrest took the 2nd spot and Pat Ularte took
3rd. Chris Radisich and Rick Elting were the other racers.
