|
|
W1. During track calls
allow work on cars in the pits if the car is already
in the pits at the time of the track call. A car may
not be taken from the track into the pits during a track
call. Work may not be carried out during a genuine “Track”
call ie braid up, computer problem etc.

may only vote on one of the following :
|
|
W2. A.Keep
Sprayglue on the Saturday program, but start
at the nominated time, no exceptions.
|
PASSED
|
|
B. Move sprayglue
to the Friday night before the Saturday
races.
|
FAILED
|
|
C.. Eliminate
Sprayglue 12 from the wing racing program
for 2005. Note it could find a home on the
scale program if scale program expands to
two days, however there may not be time
in the day for this due to the number of
scale classes being raced, otherwise the
class may be eliminated altogether.
|
FAILED
|
|
|
W3. Divide Sprayglue
12 into A and B groups. Both groups would race together
with separate payouts and points. Wing committee decides
who is an A or a B. move ups determined by skill level,
not finishing order. Allow motor claiming for the B
Class. Notes : This allows less skilled and new drivers
to race without having to compete with the “old hands”
in the class, with no overall loss of entries. The motor
claiming in the B class helps to keep the “buy the race”
syndrome to a minimum.
|
FAILED
|
|
W4. Drop C12 and G27
from the Wing program
|
FAILED
|
|
W5. Introduce G27 lite
for races outside of Buena Park. Notes : G27 lite will
be defined by the incoming committee but it is a restricted
G27 class the would include some or all of the following
: Manget restriction to either 6 pack or possibly
quads Chassis restriction, either steel chassis or
a minimum weight Race conditions : glue or possibly
sprayglue Notes : This class would be used to get
some of the semi retired racers with older equipment
back into racing.
Originally passed but
overturned as there is not room on the program for another
class.
