ANNUAL MEETING VOTING SUMMARY

Division 2 Proposals From 12/16/00

Allow ball bearings in all C can classes. Can Only.

Allow any motor lower than a Group 12 to be run in 4",4 1/2"and GT1

Traditional Sat/Sun program. Socal 4" Nascar, 4 1/2" Nastruck /GT 1, GT 12 One round qualifying. 3/32 axles and 64 pitch gears in all classes.

One day program. Socal 4" Nascar, 4 ‘/2" Nastruck, Gt 1, Gt 12 No qualifying. TQ points will be awarded to fastest time ran on the chosen lane during race. 3/32 axles and 64 pitch gears in all classes. Lane choice will be awarded in order of cars to tech first. Option to return to two day program if entries drop because program is too long. (Editors Note: Lane choice is now by random selection, not sign up)

Eliminate body height requirements in all classes. Must meet front and rear bumper requirements.

Run JK GT1 prototype and Coupe bodies for GT1.

Division 1 Proposals From 12/16/00

Run ball bearing’s in boxstock classes. Can Only.

Traditional Saturday Sunday Program. Boxstock, C 12/27 Open. 2 rounds qualifying.  (Editors note: Because proposals 2 and 3 conflicted and proposal 3 received more votes, proposal 2 was not adopted)

(a) Combine all Socal USRA wing classes into a 1-day program on Saturday.  Allow all tracks option of running 2-day programs.

(b) Run one 10 race series with 2 drops and no races in December and month of Nat’s.

(c) Add spray glue Boxstock to be run before limited glue Boxstock. Spray glue Boxstock with run USRA rules.

(d) Alternate C12 and G27 (combine am and pro) every other month. Note: only 1 drop for C12 and 1 drop for G27 will be allowed in 10 race series.

(e) Add "1 Motor" G7 race to be run before full G7 race. "1 Motor" G7 race will follow all USRA rules except as note. See rules.

(f) Limit all qualifying for all classes to a single 1-minute round in the interest of saving time.

(g) The Socal USRA vote for the following years Nat’s location shall be taken from all participating Socal USRA members in attendance at the Nat’s and shall be a majority vote that determines Socal’s choice for the following years Nat’s location.
